Where in the world is this Map-in-san-deigo? « The Journal and Compendium of Squibblegut the Squig Herder

I was browsing through the interface.myp for a few images I wanted to edit for my guilds logo and came across a HEAP of stuff MYTHIC haven't deleted or just didn't use. Some strange looking maps and a few related to Karak-Eight Peaks. Was interesting. Anyways I found a HEAP of maps and personally I was confused by some because I simply don't remember them or had never seen them, so I was wondering if someone could help me out because none of my guild are on.

So where in the Old World is this?

On top of that, when does this screen ever load?

Anybody know? Thanks in advance. Oh, btw! Werit's blog had some unconfirmed rumours about new vanity pets. I ran across a few of the buff icons for them in the wartest.myp such as the empire hound, goblin, bear and monkey icons. When I can be bothered sifting through the wartest.myp icons again I'll chuck them up here.

Think the first map is from the isle of the dead (elf t4 side zone). On holiday right now so unable to double check

That map is the Isle of the Dead, it exists in game and actually has some pretty cool PQ's. Similar to West Praag, Cinderfall, and Death Peak, it's one of the side-zones that accompany vanilla T4.

As said, that is indead isle of the dead, from the T4 elven pairing. It is split into two sides and is reached via a portal. If I recall my lore correctly, it's the site where the sword of Khaine was seized by Malkeith. But I could be wrong. I do know that somethin major and dramatic happened at the center that made a big boom. The storyline of the quests there are actually pretty cool.

The loading Screen is Ekrund, the (former) Dwarf starting zone. You can't fly there to see it, but any dwarf (dunno about Greenies) that takes a scenario pop in TOVL and then Destro takes over TOVL, the dwarf exits the Scenario to that loading screen. Better hope you have a BoB on cooldown or a Guild Scroll. :)

thanks guys, i went and checked out the isle of the dead - neat area! wish there was more content there that made it worth exploring a bit though. so much stuff to explore but not enough incentive to go there.
